Having extensive experience in the service business is a great reason to start a moving company, however, none of that mattered, until we heard my widowed grandmother say “I need to hire movers, but I just don’t trust them”. We were floored – When bringing a stranger into your home, what is more important than trust? Hence, Home Movers was born! A simple company with a simple motto: “ Moving, with peace of mind”

Of course, trust alone isn’t enough to run a business on. We realize that setting ourselves apart from the competition boils down to actually offering superior service, and so the training has become a crucial component of our company. Over the years, we’ve learned some important lessons about what customers need. Valuable feedback has led us to offer exact appointment times (Where at all possible!), handle the moving process with a degree of foresight, and to train our team members to think like a customer while executing as a mover.
